A Hairy Little Flower... (51000884826)
Description:
Description: This small flower is about 2cm in diameter. It is an Alloplectus - which is a genus of Neotropical plants in the flowering plant family Gesneriaceae. I was fascinated by the fine hairs and detail in this photo, which I couldn't see with my naked eye! Photographed in the Peter Black Conservatory, Victoria Esplanade, Palmerston North. Date: 3 March 2021, 11:49. Source: A Hairy Little Flower... Author: Geoff McKay from Palmerston North, New Zealand.
