Immature Leucocoprinus birnbaumii (yellow parasol mushroom)
Description:
Description: English: immature Leucocoprinus birnbaumii. Date: 2 February 2010. Source: Own work. Author: Droseratron. The fruit-bodies were observed growing in the container of a Heterometrus spinifer and has since been eradicated. The scorpion was moved to a new container. The substrate was coco-coir and the container received heat from a heat lamp for a portion of the day (unsure of exact cycle). These are the only observations i can make, having seen it once and for a short period of time. This picture is intended for the benefit of those trying to classify this mushroom by photo. Note: I am not an experienced mycologist and may have classified this incorrectly.
