Leymus ambiguus var. salmonis (3753468203)

Description:
Description: Salmon wildrye in this area is fairly large bunchgrass with soft-hairy leaves. The narrow attenuate glumes are different from those of thickspike wheatgrass (Ag. dasystachyum), which is also common in this area. Bluebunch wheatgrass, which has hairless green leaves, coexists with Salmon wildrye in this little sagebrush dominated community. Date: 18 June 2009, 18:56.
