Description: English: Luk sala (Thai script: ลูกสละ) is the Thai name for the fruit of a type of Salak Palm; it is sometimes also called "snakefruit". The taste of the fruit is somewhat musty, and somewhere in between dried bananas, jackfruit, and preserved dates. Luk rakam (Thai script: ลูกระกำ) is the fruit of another type of Salak Palm.
