Microseris nutans - nodding microseris - Flickr - Matt Lavin
Description:
Description: Nodding microseris is highly variable in stature. Short single stems standing about 1 dm tall, much branched stems standing that tall or taller, to single stemmed plants standing upwards of 4 dm tall can all be found in this area. Single flowering heads arising from leafy branches and fruits with a pappus that is scale-like at base and plumose distally distinguish these yellow composite forbs as nodding microseris.
