T. Hollowell 213, Nypa fruticans infructescence. Photo taken on dining table bench at Shell Beach Sea Turtle Monitoring Camp, Waini Peninsula NW District Guyana, on day of collection 16 Jun 1997. Collected along the Western shore of Mora passage near the confluence with the Waini River. No other South American vouchers of this Asian mangrove palm were known. Taken with Nikon FM body, Tamron macro zoom lens, Fujichrome positive 35mm film.
