2011-07-30 Lower Austria, district Mdling (roadside, the small strip besides the asphalt - called "Bankett" in German; 295 msm Quadrant 7963/1).German name: Acker-GauchheilUsually comes with red colour (like this one, f. arvensis), but there's also a (much rarer) blue variety (f. azurea).Here it grew on a habitat which is somewhat untypical for the species - besides a road: there, it occurred in great numbers.See also other photos from the same habitat linked below.
