Pinyon Pine cones
Description:
Single-leaf Pinyon Pine cones. These pines have one of the largest seeds(up to over an inch long) of pine in the world, and were an important part of the Native American diet. You can still buy them in the store after a good harvest year, although they aren't cheap since they have to be gathered from wild trees.
