Family: MalvaceateDistribution: Found alond streams in the coast in tropics.A prickly many branched trailing shrub, Leaves 3.5-5cm long, palmately 3-5 lobed, cordate at base, lobes linear lanceolate, serrate,stipules foliaceous, flowers yellow with purple centre, solitary, axillary, involucral bracts spathulate- apiculate, retrose, persistent, calyx with small prickles, capsule 1-2cm long, ovoid, covered with bristled hairs.
