Tubeworm moth
Description:
This moth at a lighted sheet appears to match images of Acrolophus popeanella - Clemens' Grass Tubeworm Moth, and the pattern of this species is supposed to be fairly consistent, according to expert commentary on BugGuide. I see this one pretty frequently at my porch light. Length about 15 mm, wingspan about 30 mm.
