2007.08.18: Austria, right on borderline between Vienna XXII. district and Lower Austria, district Gnserndorf, 154 m AMSL, fresh meadow: earliest flowering 2007 which is still at least 2-4 days old, thus terminus post quem = ~2007.08.14-16; terminus ante quem non = ~2008.08.10-13.The flowering of C. autumnale is an excellent phenological indicator for the end of summer - it marks the beginnings of fall.German name: Herbstzeitlose.
