Distribution - Southern China, Myanmar, Thailand,, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines. An evergreen shrub tree with a dense, rounded or cylindrical crown; it can grow up to 20 metres tall. The bole can be up to 40cm in diameter, often branching from low down and often fluted.
