CN: [Malay - Akar paku, Paku miding, Lamiding, Lemidi, Paku ramu, Paku mesin, Paku naga, Paku merah, Paku udang, Kalakai]. Native of China, Indo-China, Indian subcontinent, Malesia ecozone. A creeping or climbing fern common in the lowlands, in damp open places, thickets and secondary jungle. Ornamental. Shoots edible and eaten as vegetable. Decoction prepared by boiling young shoots and used by natives to relief diarrhea.
