Clitocybe cuticolor Murrill, Mycologia 5: 208. 1913
Pileus convex to subplane, thin, 3 cm. broad; surface smooth, glabrous, hygrophanous, duU-rosy-isabelline with a fulvous tint, margin entire, concolorous, incurved on drying; lamellae adnate, crowded, nearly plane, narrow, dull-rosy-isabelline : spores ellipsoid, smooth, hyaline, about 6.5-7 X 3-4 /x: stipe eccentric, tapering upward from a bulbous base, fleshy, sohd or stuffed, smooth, glabrous, rosy-isabelline, 4 cm. long, 7 mm. thick.
Type locaIvITy: Seattle, Washington.
Habitat: On the ground in woods.
Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
