Trichobranchus hancocki (Hartman 1955)

The first records of this species are from the San Pedro Basin off the coast of California in 20 to 90 m depth.

This species was first described by Olga Hartman (1955, pages 49-50, plate 3, figures 1-6) in honor of Captain Allan Hancock. Hutchings & Peart (2000) provided an overview of the distinguishing characters of all currently known species of Artacamella (table 1).
