Hypolycaena thecloides (Felder 1860)

Hypolycaena thecloides, the brown tit, is a small but striking butterfly found in India and South-East Asia that belongs to the lycaenids or blues family. The species was first described by Cajetan Felder and Rudolf Felder in 1860.

Hypolycaena thecloides, atau Dark Tit, adalah kupu-kupu yang termasuk dalam kelompok keluarga Lycaenidae dan sub-keluarga Lycaeninae. Ia mempunyai lebar sayap sekitar 26–30 mm.^[1]

Hypolycaena thecloides is een vlinder uit de familie van de Lycaenidae.^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1860 door Felder.
