La musaranya de muntanya etiòpica (Crocidura thalia) és una espècie de musaranya (Soricidae)^[2] que habita a la República Democràtica del Congo i Etiòpia.^[3]

Thalia's shrew (Crocidura thalia) is a species of mammal in the family Soricidae. It is endemic to Ethiopia. The mammal's natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests and high-elevation grasslands, and moist savanna.

Crocidura thalia is een zoogdier uit de familie van de spitsmuizen (Soricidae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort werd voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd door Dippenaar in 1980.

Voorkomen

De soort komt voor in Ethiopië.

Crocidura thalia^[2][3] är en däggdjursart som beskrevs av Nico J. Dippenaar 1980. Crocidura thalia ingår i släktet Crocidura och familjen näbbmöss.^[4][5] IUCN kategoriserar arten globalt som livskraftig.^[1] Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life.^[4]

Denna näbbmus förekommer i Etiopiens västra högland. Utbredningsområdet ligger 515 till 3300 meter över havet. Arten lever i fuktiga savanner med några trädgrupper, i gräsmarker, på myr och i buskskogar. Den undviker skogar med täta trädkronor.^[1]
