Hine tibiae without apical spurs; basicosta with strong setae as dense as those on the adjoining costa; vertex without a tubercle; scutellum and posterior margin of the mesoscutum without a velvety black spot; body not wholly black; wing not heavily spotted; abdomen red and coppery haired on the first 4 tergites and the anterior middle of tergite 5, remainder dark and black haired; face, genae and beard brown; antennae orange, unusually long and slender, with the dorsal tooth close to the base of the basal flagellomere; wing evenly tinted, with a long spur at the fork of veins R4 and R5.
