2011-07-02 Lower Austria, district Bruck/Leitha - Fischa alluvial (alder) forest (170 msm Quadrant 7965/3).Front-right hand side: Scrophularia umbrosa (Flgel-Braunwurz), left to it and in the background Lythrum salicaria (Gewhnlich-Blutweiderich), and also in the background, the big Asteraceae plant, Sonchus palustris, among thick growth of Carex.This is a typical river bank habitat, except for Sonchus palustris which is only native to Pannonian Austria, and there only common in some habitats like this one - but else very rare.
