Slender plants; stem 2-3 dm. high, more or less glandidar-pubescent ; petioles of basal leaves 2-8 cm. long, glandular-puberulent; blades reniform with 5-7 round lobes, 1-3 cm. wide, more or less puberulent ; lower stem-leaves similar with broad toothed stipules ; the upper subsessile, cuneate, and 1-1-toothed at the apex ; inflorescence a more or less elongated, few-flowered panicle; hypanthium campanulate, 2.5 mm. long, in fruit elliptic and ^-1 mm. long; sepals lanceolate, about 2 mm. long; petals pink, 5-7 mm. long, spatulate, long-clawed and almost erect.
Type locality: Wet rocks on the Columbia River, in Washington, near the junction of the

Distribution : Wet cliffs near streams, Montana, Washington, Idaho and Oregon.
