Odax pullus és una espècie de peix pertanyent a la família dels odàcids.[5]
Descripció
- Pot arribar a fer 40 cm de llargària màxima[6] i i 1.500 g de pes.[7][8]
Alimentació
Menja principalment algues del gènere Carpophyllum.[9][10][11][12][13]
Hàbitat
És un peix marí, demersal i de clima subtropical (35°S-47°S), el qual habita en aigües costaneres poc fondes on les roques i les algues marrons són abundants.[8]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba al Pacífic sud-occidental: Nova Zelanda[14][15][16][17][18][19] i, probablement també, Austràlia.[8][20][9][21][22]
Observacions
És inofensiu per als humans i la seua esperança de vida és d'onze anys.[23][8]
