Description: Fringed brome is a nodding brome. The inflorescences nod in a manner such that the very tip of the inflorescence is pendulous. The lemmas are hairy along the veins and the glumes glabrous, which distinguishes this grass from Bromus porter (nodding brome). Date: 22 August 2010, 10:11. Source: Bromus ciliatus.
