Description: English: The Blue-winged Kookaburra males usually start this call right on the first glow of light in the eastern sky and also the last glow of light in the evening. They will use the same call during the day around breeding season to attract mates and let other males know their territory. Their habitat is mainly semi-arid country along water ways in the Northern Parts across Australia. They are normally stationary birds do not move very far during the year. Their food consists of Reptiles- small birds- marsupiales - frogs and large insects.
