Leaves are spathulate to obovate, mostly 4–15 mm long and 1.5–3 mm wide. Flowerheads are corymbs about 0.3–0.8 c. across. Flowers are mostly < 2 mm diam. Capsules are 1.5–2 mm diam. Flowering can occur any time, but is mostly in spring. Widespread in forest and woodland where ground covers are not strongly competitive; usually on sandy soil, where subsurface moisture is available. Date: 28 September 2014, 09:32.
