Green Vine Snake (6846805218)

Imagem de Oxybelis fulgidus (Daudin 1803)

Descrição:

Description: The green vine snake is a mildly venomous snake that normally feeds on frogs and lizards. It uses its binocular vision for hunting. They are slow moving and rely on camouflage. The venom of these snakes do not cause any harm to humans. An adult may experience skin irritation and a child may fall ill; nothing more. This is the first snake I EVER handled! Contrary to popular belief, snakes are not slimy or slippery, but rubbery; they don't really get irritated unless it's really hot. My liking for them increased tenfold today!! :) G+ - Twitter - Facebook - Profile - 500px. Date: 17 March 2012, 18:46. Source: Green Vine Snake. Author: Keshav Mukund Kandhadai from Chennai, India.
