Subang Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.Turnera ulmifolia L. Turneraceae, also placed in Passifloraceae. CN: [Malay - Lidah kucing], Ramgoat dashalong, Sage-rose, West Indian-holly, Yellow-alder. Native of Florida, Mexico, Mesoamerica, Caribbean. Naturalized in the tropics and widely cultivated as ornamental. A recent study found that yellow alder potentiated the antibiotic activity against methicillinresistant Staphylococcus aureus.
