Protoperidinium steinii is a species of Dinophyceae in the family Protoperidiniaceae. They are native to Amapá, Rio De Janeiro, Espirito Santo, Bahia, Pará, SãO Paulo, Rio Grande Do Sul, and Santa Catarina.
