They are native to Distrito Federal, Tocantins, Caatinga, Cerrado, SãO Paulo, Alagoas, Mato Grosso, Pará, Pernambuco, Maranhao, ParaíBa, Minas Gerais, Espirito Santo, Sergipe, Amazônia, Bahia, Mata Atlântica, Piauí, and GoiáS. They have broad leaves.
