Dinizia excelsa is a species of tree in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pará, RondôNia, Amapá, Amazônia, Roraima, Acre (Brazil), and Tocantins. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 30 m.
