Baccharis dracunculifolia (Alecrim) is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to GoiáS, Distrito Federal, Espirito Santo, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, Mata Atlântica, Rio De Janeiro, Cerrado, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Pampa, Minas Gerais, Bahia, The Neotropics, Santa Catarina, SãO Paulo, and Mato Grosso. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Individuals can grow to 0.99 m.
