Dryopteris cristata (Crested Buckler Fern) is a species of perennial herb in the family wood ferns. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and The Contiguous United States. They have compound, broad leaves and brown flowers. Individuals can grow to 1.6 feet. They have alternation of generations.
