Claytonia virginica (Virginia Springbeauty) is a species of perennial herb in the family Montiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, North America, and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Honey bee, American Hover Fly, Large bee-fly, and Melanostoma. Individuals can grow to 0.12 m.
