Aristea ecklonii is a species of perennial herb in the family Iridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Afrotropics. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by drone fly and Long-tailed Blue. Individuals can grow to 0.49 m.
