Urena lobata (Caesarweed) is a species of shrub in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, Santa Catarina, Pantanal, AmazôNia, Ceará, Maranhao, U.S. Virgin Islands, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Sergipe, SãO Paulo, Pampa, Alagoas, Bahia, Pará, Paraná, Tocantins, Puerto Rico, Minas Gerais, Cerrado, Mata Atlântica, Caatinga, Distrito Federal, GoiáS, ParaíBa, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Acre (Brazil), Mato Grosso, and Rio De Janeiro. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Sphegocephala castaneiceps, Compsomelissa spatulata, Dianthidium, and Lasioglossum urenae. Individuals can grow to 1.9 m.
