Citrullus lanatus (Watermelon) is a species of annual herb in the family Cucurbitaceae. They are climbers. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Amegilla acraensis. Individuals can grow to 0.97 m.
