Capsella bursa-pastoris (Shepherd's Purse) is a species of annual herb in the family crucifers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Europe. They have simple, broad leaves and dry fruit. Flowers are visited by Lonchoptera bifurcata, Syritta pipiens, Falcate Orangetip, and Eupeodes corollae. Individuals can grow to 0.4 m.
