Polygala senega (Seneca Snakeroot) is a species of perennial herb in the family Polygalaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and samaras. Flowers are visited by Celastrina lucia. Individuals can grow to 0.5 m.
