Impatiens balsamina (Spotted Snapweed) is a species of shrub in the family Balsaminaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves and loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Early bumblebee, Magnificent Hummingbird, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, and Bombus hypnorum. Individuals can grow to 0.6 m.
