Catalpa bignonioides (Southern Catalpa) is a species of tree in the family bignonias. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Eastern North America. They have simple, broad leaves, white flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Pipevine Swallowtail. Individuals can grow to 66 feet.
