Callicarpa americana is a species of shrub in the family Lamiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves and blue flowers. Flowers are visited by Apis mellifera, Lasioglossum tarponense, Megachile brevis, and Augochlora pura. Individuals can grow to 6 feet.
