The flatbug, also known as the flat bug, comprises of many genera and species. Some genera, such as Mezira sp. live near rotten logs in the wet, hot climates of Western America while others like Dysodiuslunatus, on the outside of veryalivetreesin the even wetter and hotter American tropics.
