TYPE.—Holotype, USNM 4133.
TYPE LOCALITY.—Colima, Mexico. As pointed out by others, these are obviously erroneous locality data.
RANGE.—Eastern parts of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and departments of Maldonado and Rocha, Uruguay.
HABITAT.—Lotic situations.
