Picris hieracioides (Hawkweed Oxtongue) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Shrill carder bee, Brown-banded carder bee, drone fly, and Marsh Hoverfly. Individuals can grow to 0.43 m.
