Sporobolus michauxianus (Freshwater Cord Grass) is a species of perennial grass in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, North America, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Eastern North America, Western North America, United States, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 2.5 m.
