Original diagnosis by Kinberg (1865: 174): "Lobus cephalicus mediocris, segmenta 3 proxima aequans, margine posteriore integro, fronte lata; oculi mediocres, aequales, ovales et transversi, in rectangulo positi; antennae approximatae, logitudinem lobi cephalici dimidiam parum superantes; cirri tentaculares breves, paris 1:i palporum longitudine."
