Austroliotia scalaris (Hedley 1903)

Austroliotia saxa, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Liotiidae.^[1]

The database of Seashells of New South Wales considers this species a synonym of Austroliotia scalaris (Hedley, 1903) as the specimen, on which Laseron based its description of this species, was worn and had poorly developed spines and axial lamellae.^[2]

Description

The height and width of the shell attains 8 mm.^[2]

Distribution

This marine species occurs off New South Wales, Australia.
