Fossarina rimata (Hutton 1884)

Fossarina rimata is a species of small sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Trochidae, the top snails.^[1]

Description

The shell grows to a length of 4 mm, its diameter is 5 mm.

Distribution

This species occurs in New Zealand.^[2]

Fossarina rimata is een slakkensoort uit de familie van de Trochidae.^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1884 door Hutton.
