Carex saxatilis (Russet Sedge) is a species of perennial grass in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, North America, Canada, Greenland, Alaska, and Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon. They have simple, broad leaves and brown flowers. Individuals can grow to 2 feet.
