Small Hyocrinus species with stalk length to 120 mm; aboral cup with ribbed ornamentation usually present; arms with series of two or frequently three brachials united by synostosis; first pinnule at Br4 to Br7 with a high frequency at Br5; tegmen with conical oral ring; columnals of proximal and middle part of stalk with seven irregular small crenellae and angular stereom meshwork around axial canal.
