Baccharis halimifolia (Groundsel Bush) is a species of shrub in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed as threatened by COSEWIC. They are native to North America, Eastern North America, The Contiguous United States, The Neotropics, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves, white flowers, and achenes. Flowers are visited by Eumenes fraternus, Eristalis dimidiata, Toxomerus geminatus, and Agapostemon poeyi. Individuals can grow to 10 feet.
